Marigold Carnival Bowl and Blue Bubble Compote

Two bowls. (1) A marigold carnival glass footed bowl about 9 and a half inches across, standing on four applied scroll feet with an upturned crown scalloped rim and a molded daisy and scroll pattern on a stippled ground. It is unmarked, and the iridescence is rubbed and dull on the high points of the rim scallops and on all four feet. (2) A turquoise blue controlled bubble ruffled compote about 10 and a half inches across the ruffles, on a clear applied disc foot with a center scar and a short stem, the rim free formed into six pulled points. Also unmarked. Condition is fair to good. The compote is the better piece, with no chips or flea bites on any of the six ruffle points, a clean foot rim and only a shallow scuff beneath the stem. Neither piece carries a maker mark, so no attribution is offered. Sold as-is. Photos are the most accurate description of this lot. Written descriptions are a guide only and may contain errors.
