Two pieces, and please note a correction. The first item is an ashtray, not a lock. (1) Horseshoe ashtray built from a worn iron horseshoe with eight raised nail heads mounted on a scalloped hardwood plinth, with a small cast white metal cigarette rest clipped to the open end. An orange paper sticker on the base underside reads MADE IN SPAIN and 5564. There is no lock, no key, no keyhole and no shackle, and it does not open. (2) Side blown wooden flute or fife about 12 inches long with six open finger holes and no key mechanism, so nothing is missing, in a chrome yellow ground with black transfer printed arrow, lyre and urn motifs and a black crescent ring around each hole, marked MADE IN JAPAN at the head joint. Condition is fair. The horseshoe is heavily oxidized and pitted, the wood plinth has a deep vertical split at the front, and the flute has paint loss around the mouth hole. Sold as-is.
