Daisy Model 188 BB Air Pistol

Daisy Model 188 BB air pistol with molded black checkered plastic grips over a steel and cast metal frame in a matte black finish. The markings read Daisy in the script logo, MODEL 188, ROGERS, AR, U.S.A., and BB CAL 4.5mm STEEL AIR GUN SHOT, and a seven step operating sequence is stamped under the barrel reading put on safe, cock, load, close bolt, aim, take off safe, fire. An impressed code on the grip butt reads approximately 7F5507 but is not certain enough to publish as a firm number, and no patent numbers are visible. Daisy moved to Rogers, Arkansas in 1958, which is the only dating cue present. Condition is good. Both grip panels are present and not cracked, the barrel is straight, the front and rear sights are present and square, and the trigger and sliding safety are both in place. There is light finish wear on the top rear and a torn illegible paper label on the left frame. Untested. Sold as-is. Photos are the most accurate description of this lot.
