A collection of silver 25-cent coins from Canada and Newfoundland, all featuring the obverse portrait of King George V. The group includes a 1917 Newfoundland issue and Canadian specimens dated 1911, 1934, and one example with an illegible date. The obverses bear the Latin legend GEORGIVS V DEI GRA: REX ET IND: IMP: surrounding a crowned bust of the monarch. The Canadian reverses display an imperial crown over the denomination and date, framed by a wreath of maple leaves tied at the base with a bow. The Newfoundland reverse features the denomination and date centred within a decorative circular border. All coins possess reeded edges.
