Canadian silver dollar struck to commemorate the centennial of Confederation in 1967. The obverse features the second portrait of Queen Elizabeth II, designed by Arnold Machin, depicting the monarch facing right and wearing a tiara. The legend reads ELIZABETH II D G REGINA. The reverse, designed by Alex Colville, features a Canada goose in flight with the denomination DOLLAR above and the dates CANADA 1867-1967 below. The coin is struck in silver with a fineness of .800 and features a reeded edge and beaded borders on both sides.
