A pair of original acrylic paintings on stretched canvas, each depicting a home nestled in a wooded environment. The works are executed in a naive impressionist style characterized by heavy impasto brushwork and visible texture. One painting shows a blue-toned cottage with a central arched doorway in yellow and white, accented by red floral window boxes. The second painting illustrates a light-colored building framed by trees, including a flowering specimen with dark red blossoms. Both compositions employ a vibrant color palette and textured, expressive strokes to suggest light and foliage. The canvases are stapled to the sides of wooden stretcher bars and are currently unframed. Condition: Both works are in good condition with no visible signs of paint loss, craquelure, or restoration. The paint surfaces appear stable. Minor surface dust is present. Canvases are tightly stretched with staples visible on the side edges.
