Two contemporary landscape paintings executed on stretched canvas. The first work is an impressionistic woodland scene featuring white birch trees and a dark rocky formation, rendered with energetic, dappled brushwork in a palette of forest greens, yellows, and whites. It features an indistinct signature in dark paint located toward the lower center-left. The second work is a gestural abstract landscape composed of broad horizontal sweeps of blue, yellow, and green paint suggesting a horizon line. Both pieces remain unframed and are stapled to the reverse of standard-profile wooden stretcher bars. The abstract work features edges finished in blue paint. Condition: Both works appear in good overall condition. The paint surfaces are stable with no visible craquelure, flaking, or significant loss. The canvas supports remain taut on their original stretcher bars.
