Antique Chinese Qing Dynasty carved pale celadon jade belt plaque, likely dating to the early 19th century. The rectangular plaque is finely carved in relief with a figural scene depicting an archer in a landscape setting. The reverse features two transverse mounting bars and a carved inscription, indicating its original use as a belt ornament. Executed in pale celadon jade with soft translucency and a smooth polished surface, the carving displays the refined workmanship and symbolic imagery associated with Qing Dynasty jade carvings. A handsome example of Chinese jade art and personal adornment. 2 1/4" x 1 1/2" x 1/2".
