Jay Strongwater 2004 Signed Crystal Putti Frame

This Jay Strongwater picture frame is crafted from cast metal with an antique gold-toned finish. The neo-Renaissance design features a square frame bordered by scrolling foliate motifs set with multicolored crystals in shades of pink,yellow, and green. The top crest is composed of three winged putti holding green cabochon crystals. The reverse is finished in translucent red enamel and includes a decorative openwork easel stand centered with a large faceted pear-shapedpink crystal. The frame currently contains a color print of a Madonna and Child after Raphael. The back of the frame features a raised rectangular metal plate stamped JAY STRONGWATER and a handwritten gold-colored ink signature reading JayStrongwater 2004. 4 x 5 inches.The frame is in overall good condition with all crystals present and intact. There is light surface wear consistent with age and handling. Some minor fading or rubbing is visible on the gold-ink signature on the enameled reverse. 4 x 5 inches.
