A mid-20th-century Victorian revival Gone with the Wind style electric hurricane table lamp. The lamp features a two-part construction consisting of a spherical globe shade and a matching font body, both crafted from opaque white milkglass with a soft pink tinted finish. The glass components are hand-painted with a floral design of vibrant pink and yellow roses, green leaves, and blue-gray accent foliage. The lamp is mounted on an ornate, four-footed cast metal basewith an openwork design featuring scrolled acanthus leaves and roundels in an antiqued brass-tone finish. The brass-plated socket assembly includes a decorative openwork gallery designed to support a glass chimney and the globe shade. Thelamp is operated by a cast-metal switch shaped like an antique clock key. No maker's marks or signatures are present. 19.5 inches tall. The glass body and globe shade are in good condition with no visible cracks or large chips. The ground bottom rim of the globe shade exhibits minor typical roughness and small flea-bite nicks consistent with use and age. 19.5 inches tall.
