This Fitz and Floyd figural ceramic teapot is from the Marie Cattoinette collection, produced in 1990. The piece is designed as an anthropomorphic cat in 18th-century French court attire. The removable lid is the cat's head, which featuresa powdered-wig hairstyle with a yellow bow. One arm holds a molded yellow fan that functions as the spout, while the opposite arm is curved to form the handle. The teapot is hand-painted with molded and embossed details. The dress featuresa pink lattice-patterned skirt with small floral accents, purple ruffles, and light blue sleeves. The back of the skirt includes three large pink bustles adorned with purple bows. The base features black stamped and incised marks readingMARIE CATTOINETTE, copyright symbol F F 1990, and 36 OZ. A small white label on the front reads Hand Painted. Height: 9 inches Capacity: 36 ounces.The teapot is in excellent condition. No chips, cracks, or repairs are visible on the body, lid, spout, or handle.
