Figures. Wayne Beam Morrell (American, b. 1923) A vibrant, impasto-laden oil on board landscape depicting a winding white picket fence leading through a lush garden toward a calm blue sea. Three small figures stand in a sunlit field, overlooking sailboats on the water under a sky dotted with purple and orange clouds, while the foreground is alive with a riot of red, pink, yellow, and blue flowers. Signed "WAYNE B. MORRELL" in the lower right. Framed. Wayne Beam Morrell (b. 1923) is an American artist born in Clementon. He honed his skills at the Philadelphia Museum of Art's School of Industry after graduating from Lincoln Preparatory School.
