Bob Kane (American, 1915-1998) Ink and watercolor on paper, featuring Batman in his classic purple/lavender suit with a yellow bat emblem and utility belt, soaring dramatically with his black and blue-lined cape spread wide. Signed, inscribed, and dated "BOB KANE 1981" in the lower right. Unframed. Bob Kane was an influential American comic book artist and writer, best known as the creator of the iconic superhero Batman for DC Comics. He later acknowledged the significant contributions of writer Bill Finger to the character's development, solidifying Batman's place in popular culture.
