Cat and Owl. Gertrude Abercrombie (American, 1909-1977) Oil on panel, depicting a stylized woman in a red dress seated in an interior with a black cat on a blue mat. Gertrude Abercrombie was an American painter recognized as the "queen of bohemian artists."
