Jon Serl (American, 1894-1993) A vibrant work on hand-painted paper, depicting three figures rendered in a folk art style. A central figure in a red sweater and brown trousers has a brown hat placed on their head by a person in blue, while a woman in a green dress stands to the right. The composition features a bold palette of blue, red, green, yellow, and brown against a warm background and a blue ground line. Signed 'Jon' in the lower right. Unframed. Jon Serl was an American self-taught artist known for his vibrant and expressive paintings.
