1925 Peace Silver Dollar, struck at the Philadelphia Mint. This classic 90% silver dollar is one of the final large-mintage issues of the early Peace Dollar series and is a popular date among collectors. Please review the photos for the exact condition, surfaces, strike, and overall appearance. The Peace Dollar was designed by sculptor Anthony de Francisci to commemorate the peace following World War I. The obverse features Liberty wearing a radiate crown, while the reverse depicts an eagle perched on a mountain with an olive branch and the word “PEACE” below. The series was produced from 1921 through 1935.
