Rare L.C. Tiffany Favrile art glass stemmed goblet, early 20th century, executed in luminous golden-amber glass with rich metallic iridescence flashing rose, green, and violet under changing light. The broad, gently flared bowl is decorated with a distinctive repeating cut oval/faceted motif around the circumference, creating alternating areas of transparency and refracted color, while the unusually elaborate stem is deeply cut and twisted in a spiraling geometric pattern before terminating in a circular iridescent foot with scalloped optical effects. The underside retains a circular Tiffany paper label, further supporting the attribution. Cut and decorated Tiffany stemware is substantially less common than the firm’s more familiar blown Favrile forms. The present example is particularly appealing for its unusual cut stem, saturated gold coloration, and strong iridescent surface. Condition appears generally very good from the photographs, with expected light surface wear and scratching and on the underside of the foot consistent with age and use; no obvious major chips or cracks are visible. Measure 5"H x 3.5"W.
