Antique figural copper mold formed as a dramatic crescent moon with a deeply embossed anthropomorphic face, featuring an expressive eye, prominent hooked nose, smiling mouth with exposed teeth, and flowing beard modeled in bold relief. The reverse is tin-lined and shows the impressed form of the facial design, indicating its original use as a culinary or confectionery mold rather than simply a decorative wall plaque; comparable crescent-face molds are documented among early 20th-century tin and copper cake and chocolate molds. The warm copper exterior has developed an attractive aged patina with scattered darkening, light scratches, small dents, and surface wear, while the interior tinning shows oxidation, spotting, and expected use wear. A small hanging tab is present along the edge, allowing the mold to be displayed decoratively when not in use. Marked "Gesetzlich Geshutzt" at top near hook. An unusual and highly graphic example with strong folk-art and celestial appeal. Measures 7.25"H x 3.5"W x 1.75"D.
