Charming vintage cast-metal tabletop picture frame with a distinctly winter holiday motif, finished in muted green with hand-painted accents. The rectangular frame is richly relief-decorated with holly leaves and bright red berries surrounding a large circular photograph opening, while the upper register depicts a bundled child sledding through a snowy landscape framed by stylized bare trees. The combination of winter sport imagery, holly decoration, and restrained period coloring gives the frame a strong early-to-mid 20th century Christmas character. The frame retains its original-style easel back and currently houses a period black-and-white photograph of a smiling baby holding a decorated toy container, adding considerable nostalgic appeal. The painted surface shows expected age-related wear, including scattered abrasions, small losses and fading to the applied colors, while the rear covering and easel exhibit discoloration, staining, edge wear, and general handling marks; overall the frame remains visually attractive and displayable.
