Group of two decorative Chinese porcelain covered vessels comprising a famille verte-style oval tureen surmounted by a fully modeled duck finial and a rounded fruit-form jar with an intertwined branch handle, accompanied by a fitted carved wood stand. The duck tureen is brightly decorated with lotus blossoms, aquatic plants, butterflies, and ducks in shades of green, rose, turquoise, and iron red, while the molded bird cover features carefully delineated plumage in graduated green enamels. The fruit-form jar is painted with a lively garden scene of blossoming peonies, oversized leaves, rockwork, and birds, including a long-tailed phoenix-like bird, and bears an apocryphal underglaze-blue seal mark to the underside. Likely Chinese, 20th century. The duck dish has sustained a visible repaired crack through the body and rim, with associated hairlines, surface wear, staining, firing imperfections, and scattered enamel loss; the fruit-form jar shows rubbing, minor glaze and enamel wear, and age-related surface marks, while the wood stand has ordinary wear. Duck measures 8"H x 10"W x 7"D and fruit measures 4.5"H x 5"W.
