VERMILION LACQUER GILDED IMPERIAL POEM PATTERN CHRYSANTHEMUM PETAL PLATE. <br>D:17.5cm H:3.5cm This is an imperial chrysanthemum-shaped dish from the Qianlong reign of Qing Dynasty, with fluted petal rim and radiating ribbed walls. The whole vessel is covered with even bright iron red glossy glaze. The center bears a seven-character imperial poem inscribed in gilded regular script, finished with a small gilded seal stamp after the verse, with matching Qianlong official kiln mark on the base. It was an exclusive elegant ornament for imperial studies. The imperial poem was composed by the Qianlong Emperor to appreciate ancient porcelain and antiques.
