1938 2¢ John Adams Booklet Pane of Six

One intact United States 2¢ John Adams booklet pane of six from the 1938 Presidential Series. The stamps remain joined by perforations and retain surrounding perforated selvage. Each stamp reads “UNITED STATES POSTAGE,†“JOHN ADAMS,†“1797“2 CENTS.†Philatelic research identifies the pane as Scott 806b; the booklet format was issued in 1939. A photographed card reads “U.S.# 8066,†“MINT NH BOOKLET PANE (6),†and “1938 Adams Issue,†but card inclusion is unconfirmed. Vidiscoloration, spots, stains, abrasions, and surface marks appear on the stamps and selvage. Perforations appear uneven or irregular in places. Gum, hinge marks, reverse condition, creases, tears, perforation separation, and mint-never-hinged statuscannot be determined from the photographs. The exact gutter variety is also unconfirmed.
