Mounted pair of U.S. postage stamps from the Prominent Americans series: one 40c Thomas Paine stamp and one 50c Lucy Stone stamp. The surrounding card identifies the stamps as “US# 1292a, 1293a†and appears to reference 1973 tagged issues. Includthe white identification/display card or mounting. Both perforated stamps remain mounted on the card. No obvious major tears or missing corners are visible, although glare and reflections affect the photographs. Stamp surfaces, gum, hinge status,tagging, cancellation status, and the card’s “MINT NH†notation cannot be independently verified from the supplied images.
