Vintage porcelain enamel industrial trade sign produced for the Ellicott Machine Corporation of Baltimore, Maryland, advertising its renowned "Dragon Model" hydraulic dredges. The sign features a striking blue and white design centered by the company's distinctive dragon logo, along with international patent information and corporate branding. Ellicott was one of the world's leading manufacturers of dredging equipment, supplying machines for harbor construction, mining, land reclamation, and major infrastructure projects around the globe. Based on the patent dates displayed, the sign dates to the mid-1960s and was likely produced circa 1964. Constructed of heavy-gauge steel with a porcelain enamel finish, this is an authentic industrial advertising piece intended for commercial or operational use. The sign exhibits honest age and use wear, including edge rust, mounting-hole wear, surface scratches. Reverse retains its original blue enamel finish. Measures approximately 36" x 24".
