Vintage TAG solid brass industrial immersion thermometer with original brass thermowell, dating to 1940s. Graduated in degrees Fahrenheit from approximately 40° to 240°, this heavy-duty instrument was designed for use in boilers, steam systems, water heaters, and other industrial applications. The removable thermometer fits into the threaded brass thermowell, allowing accurate temperature readings while protecting the sensing element and permitting removal without draining the system. Manufactured in the USA, it retains an attractive aged brass patina and displays well as industrial or steampunk décor. Thermometer measures 12" x 2 1/2"; brass thermowell measures approximately 14" long.
