GIA Mozambique Ruby and Diamond Ring

Elegant white-metal ring centered by an oval natural ruby surrounded by a diamond halo with additional diamonds extending along the shoulders. The accompanying GIA Ruby Origin Report No. 2235909525, dated April 9, 2026, identifies the center stone as natural corundum, ruby variety, of Mozambique origin. All rings in this auction are currently sized between 6 and 7. The consignor has generously agreed to resize the purchased ring at no charge to the buyer. Rings requiring resizing will be shipped to the consignor and returned to the buyer through Southern Heirs Auction. Please allow approximately two to four weeks for the resizing and return process. The GIA report provides the following information: * Client-stated ruby weight: 1.13 carats * Measurements: Approximately 7.75 x 5.85 mm * Shape: Oval * Color: Red * Transparency: Transparent to semi-transparent * Crown cutting style: Brilliant cut * Pavilion cutting style: Step cut * Treatment: Heated with significant residues and minor residues in cavities * Gross ring weight: Approximately 2.99 grams The GIA report applies to the center ruby. The report does not identify the white-metal content or provide the total weight and grading of the surrounding diamonds. The original GIA report and report card are included.
