Platinum ring featuring a 2.04-carat octagonal step-cut natural emerald surrounded by a double halo of round brilliant-cut natural diamonds, with additional diamonds accenting the shoulders. All rings in this auction are currently sized between 6 and 7. The consignor has generously agreed to resize the purchased ring at no charge to the buyer. Rings requiring resizing will be shipped to the consignor and returned to the buyer through Southern Heirs Auction. Please allow approximately two to four weeks for the resizing and return process. The appraisal describes the emerald as transparent, intense green with Type 3 clarity and excellent symmetry. Fifty natural diamonds total approximately 1.12 carats and are described as F-G color with VS1-VS2 clarity, excellent symmetry, and excellent polish. The platinum is marked as .950 purity, and the ring is reported to be in excellent condition with a high-polish finish.
