Platinum statement ring featuring a 2.06-carat cushion brilliant-cut natural pink sapphire surrounded by an ornate arrangement of round brilliant and baguette-cut natural diamonds. All rings in this auction are currently sized between 6 and 7. The consignor has generously agreed to resize the purchased ring at no charge to the buyer. Rings requiring resizing will be shipped to the consignor and returned to the buyer through Southern Heirs Auction. Please allow approximately two to four weeks for the resizing and return process. The appraisal describes the sapphire as transparent, intense purplish pink, with excellent symmetry and no indications of heating. Twenty-six natural diamonds total approximately 2.06 carats and are described as F-G color with VS1-VS2 clarity, excellent symmetry, and excellent polish. The platinum is listed as .900 purity and the ring is reported to be in excellent condition with a high-polish finish.
