Description Swiss Model 1957 bayonet with matching metal scabbard measuring approximately 14.5 inches overall. Blade is maker marked with the F+ logo for Waffenfabrik Neuhausen and is serial numbered V 61463. Features black ribbed synthetic grip scales with steel pommel and crossguard. Includes the original metal scabbard with leather retaining strap. Please review all photographs for maker markings, serial numbers, and overall condition. Condition Excellent overall condition with light handling marks appropriate for age. Blade retains a bright finish with no obvious chips or significant corrosion visible. Grip scales are secure with only minor handling wear. Scabbard retains its original finish with light scratches and wear from storage and use. Leather retaining strap shows minor wear but remains attached. Please refer to the photographs for Accuracy This is a Swiss M1957 (Stgw 57) bayonet, not a German bayonet. The maker mark (F+) and serial number are correct for Swiss military production, and these are well regarded for their quality and collectibility.
