Offered is a U.S. M1 bayonet for the M1 Garand rifle, dated 1943 and marked "U.F.H. / U.S. / 1943" on the ricasso, indicating manufacture by Union Fork & Hoe Co. during World War II. The bayonet features black ribbed grip scales, a parkerized blade, and is accompanied by its olive-painted metal scabbard with steel throat. Condition: Very good military surplus condition with expected finish wear, light surface oxidation, and handling marks consistent with age and service. The blade retains much of its original parkerized finish and the grip panels are secure. The scabbard shows scattered paint loss and storage wear but remains structurally sound. Please examine all photographs carefully as they are part of the description. If you have any doubt regarding the age, originality, or condition, please attend the preview and examine all photographs closely before bidding.
