AVAILABLE for SHIPPING or LOCAL PICKUP > As discovered, not connected, thus not tested for functionality, a vintage 1960s Arrowhead Brass Products garden spigot with a substantial cast brass faucet body, threaded hose outlet, male threaded inlet, and an unusual cast metal butterfly form handle. Finial appears to be mounted with a small set screw at the base. The faucet body bears Arrowhead’s cast arrowhead emblem, while the raised ABP mark near the threaded connection identifies Arrowhead Brass Products. The company became known for durable brass exterior faucets, hose bibbs, hydrants, and plumbing fittings intended for residential and commercial use. The broad butterfly handle is cast with detailed relief veining across all four wings, transforming a functional outdoor water control into a distinctive garden ornament. Turning the butterfly operates the valve stem in the same manner as a conventional wheel or cross handle. The brass body displays an aged darkened surface with green verdigris oxidation, while the butterfly retains weathered gray and pale painted or oxidized highlights within the raised wing detail. Suitable for restoration and functional installation, or display within garden, plumbing, architectural salvage, butterfly, and unusual hardware collections. CONDITION REPORT > Displays substantial age and outdoor exposure, with oxidation, verdigris, surface deposits, discoloration, finish loss, and wear throughout. Working condition has not been tested.
