Serial # NSN. Approx. .44 caliber percussion fired pistol with a 4-1/2” octagon pistol. The bore is fair with rust. No markings visible on the barrel or lock plate except for a “0” on the left side of the barrel. The metal finish on the barrel, lock plate and hammer is a rusty brown patina. Brass pommel cap, trigger guard, side plate and ram rod retainer. The plain walnut grip/stock is in fair condition with scattered scratches and finish wear. There are small cracks at the nose and lock plate with slivers of wood missing at the lock plate. The action works, but the spring action is very weak.
