British Model 1801 Flintlock Replica Pistol

Serial # T293. Approx. .65 caliber flintlock fired pistol with a 9 » barrel. The bore is excellent, clean with no rust. The lock plate is marked Crown/GR and SAR. The barrel is marked with Crown/CP and Crown/V markings. There are also some ground off markings where “Japan” can barely be made out. The metal finish on the barrel is a dull gray patina that has been aggressively cleaned with remnant cleaned rust visible. The lock plate, hammer and frizzen are a brownish gray patina with light surface rust. Brass pommel cap, trigger guard, side plate and ram rod retainer. The plain hardwood grip/stock is in very good condition showing light dings and scratches with finish wear. The action works OK, it is a bit sluggish.
