Serial # 30. 12 Ga. hammer fired double barrel shotgun with 30” Damascus barrels. The bores are poor with heavy pitting. The barrels are both choked Imp. Modified. The barrel rib is marked “Laminated Steel”. The barrel has Birmingham proofs from the 1855-1875 period. The shotgun has been completely refinished. The metal finish on the Damascus barrels has been polished and is a gray patina with good Damascus pattern. The frame and trigger guard have been polished bright and show some scattered light patches of remnant roughness from older cleaned rust. The checkered walnut forearm and the matching butt stock have been re-pointed and refinished. The forearm is in excellent condition, the butt stock would be excellent except for a repaired crack through the wrist. Bone butt plate with an embossed elk head and an LoP of 14-3/8”. The action works fine and the lock-up is light.
