R Serial # 1212375. .22 LR caliber double action revolver with a 5½” barrel. The bore is excellent, mostly clean with strong rifling and some light fouling. Made for Sears by High Standard, it is similar to the Double Nine. Made c. 1961. Aluminum frame with a 9 shot swing out cylinder. The blued metal finish on the barrel is in very good condition showing light muzzle wear with some light freckling. The blued metal finish on the fluted cylinder is in good to very good condition showing little wear a heavy drag line. The matte black finish on the alloy frame is in very good condition showing light edge wear with scratches from the extractor star contacting the frame on the left recoil shield. The chrome finish on the alloy grip frame is in good to very good condition showing light edge wear with scattered scratches. The checkered black plastic grips are in very good to excellent condition showing little wear. Fixed sights. The action works fine. Includes a leather holster with ammunition. C&R.
