West German Figural Character Beer Stein

A ceramic character stein from the mid-20th century, produced in West Germany. The stein is molded in the form of a man in a green jacket and hat, holding a pipe, with a rifle slung over his back. It features a ceramic lid integral to the design, with a pewter thumblift and hinge mechanism.
