Figural Monkey Character Beer Stein

A late 19th or early 20th-century ceramic lidded beer stein, modeled as an anthropomorphic monkey wearing a top hat and jacket. The monkey holds a pipe and a small sign reading "S.11", with its tail forming the handle. Two German-language text panels on the back read "Wird der Aff im Bierfass gross" and "Ist auch gleich der Teufel los."
