German Figural Ceramic Beer Stein, c. 1910

A German ceramic character beer stein, or Charakterkrug, from the early 20th century. The stein is molded in the form of a seated, portly man, possibly a coachman, featuring polychrome hand-painted glazes and a pewter lid with a thumblift.
