Miniature Oil Lamp – Novelty Log Cabin / Little House Motif, Metal Burner & Ruffled Hurricane Shade Miniature glass oil lamp / kerosene lamp. Design/Subject: Whimsical figural novelty style featuring a molded clear glass font base intricately shaped like a rustic log cabin or small house. The glass features raised molded details depicting a pitched roofline, horizontal wall logs, windows, and a doorway, with the burner collar threading into the chimney stack position. Outfitted with an aged brass/metal collar, a classic turn-knob wick raiser burner, and a pinched-neck clear glass hurricane chimney shade featuring an elegant ruffled top rim. Material: Clear glass base and chimney shade with brass/composition metal components. Features: The highly charming "little house" shape makes this an excellent crossover piece for collectors of miniature lighting, figural vintage glass, and rustic Americana home decor. The clear glass base offers full visibility of the internal wick and fuel capacity. Condition: Good vintage/pre-owned condition. The glass cabin base and ruffled clear chimney are free of major cracks, large chips, or structural breaks, showing only standard light surface wear and minor manufacturing roughness on the raw bottom fitting rim of the shade. The metal burner shows a dark, naturally aged patina consistent with age. An internal fabric wick is present; the mechanical adjustment turn-knob turns, but the unit is otherwise untested for burning functionality. Display: Stable, flat-bottomed rectangular base formed by the footprint of the cabin structure. A delightful addition to a miniature lamp collection, country general store display, or novelty glassware showcase.
