Chintz Ceramic Miniature Oil Lamp – All-Over Pink Rose Vine Motif, Gold Gilt Finger Handle, Brass Burner & Milk Glass Shade Description Item: Miniature ceramic oil lamp / kerosene lamp. Design/Subject: Classic finger-lamp style featuring a squat, rounded white ceramic font base covered in a dense, cottage-style "chintz" pattern of pink rose blossoms, buds, and green leafy vines. Equipped with an attached ceramic finger loop handle accented with bright gold gilt along the top spine. Outfitted with a polished brass collar, a ornate crown-style turn-knob wick raiser burner, and a bulbous white milk glass hurricane chimney shade with a smooth top rim. Material: Glazed ceramic/porcelain base, white milk glass chimney shade, and brass components. Features: The all-over chintz floral coverage paired with the gold-gilded handle gives this piece a highly collectible, romantic English cottage aesthetic. Its compact size makes it ideal for miniature lighting collections or Victorian-themed decorative vanity displays. Condition: Good vintage/pre-owned condition. The ceramic font base is free of structural cracks, chips, or crazing. The milk glass chimney shade is intact with minimal surface wear and typical minor factory roughness on the hidden bottom fitting rim. The brass burner is bright with only minor natural tarnish in the recessed details. The internal fabric wick is present; the mechanical adjustment turn-knob rotates smoothly, but the unit is otherwise untested for burning functionality. Display: Exceptionally stable, low-profile flat-bottomed base with an integrated finger loop handle. A beautiful addition to a miniature lamp collection, antique porcelain showcase, or traditional farmhouse display shelf.
