Copper-Tone Miniature Oil Lamp – Novelty Teapot / Pitcher Silhouette, Made in Hong Kong Brass Burner & Clear Glass Shade Description Item: Miniature oil lamp / kerosene lamp. Design/Subject: Novelty style featuring a copper-tone metal font base charmingly shaped like a classic teapot or tiny pouring pitcher. The design includes a rounded body resting on a flared circular pedestal foot, complete with an integrated flat metal finger handle on one side and a decorative faux pouring spout on the other. Outfitted with a crown-style burner collar, a large circular turn-knob wick raiser stamped "MADE IN HONG KONG," and a pinched-neck clear glass hurricane chimney shade. Material: Copper-finish metal (likely copper-plated steel or anodized metal) and clear glass components. Features: The whimsical teapot profile makes this a highly distinct piece that provides a warm, rustic contrast to typical ceramic or glass models. The visible stamped manufacturing origin on the thumbwheel adds great value for collectors tracking mid-century novelty import variations. Condition: Good vintage/pre-owned condition. The metal font body shows its original warm luster with minor surface tarnish, light verdigris spotting near the crevices, and typical shelf wear on the base rim consistent with age. The clear glass chimney is completely free of structural cracks or chips, showing only standard factory micro-roughness on the hidden bottom edge. The internal fabric wick is present; the mechanical adjustment turn-knob rotates smoothly, but the unit is otherwise untested for burning functionality. Display: Exceptionally stable, freestanding placement on its flared circular foot. A delightful addition to a miniature lamp collection, antique kitchenware showcase, or vintage novelty metal display.
