A lot of two early 20th-century framed chromolithograph inspirational prints. The first print features the poem God Hath Not Promised by Annie Johnson Flint, presented in black gothic-style calligraphy with decorative red initials. The design includes a trailing floral vine border in green and red with an avian motif at the top. The lower right bears the printed mark COPYRIGHT EVANGELICAL PUBLISHERS TORONTO, CANADA. It is housed in a simple cream-painted wooden frame. The second print, titled WE, features a poem regarding friendship. The upper half is decorated with an Art Deco style illustration of a half-timbered building, figures in period dress, and a horse-drawn carriage, utilizing vibrant colours and textured, glitter-infused inks. The lower left is marked © 1928 BUCKBEE-BREHM. It is set in a dark-stained wooden frame with gilded relief detailing. Dimensions: Frame A approx. 30.5 cm x 21.6 cm; Frame B approx. 25.4 cm x 16.5 cm (measured from visible tape measure in inches). Condition: The Annie Johnson Flint print shows significant age-related toning to the paper and a prominent water stain with associated paper loss at the bottom left corner. The cream frame exhibits paint wear and chipping. The Buckbee-Brehm print is in good overall condition with minor toning and light surface wear to the frame. The cardboard backings on both items are worn and torn, with one featuring a hanging wire.
