This limited edition print by artist Beverley Spicer depicts a detailed interior scene of a blacksmith or wheelwright workshop. The composition centers on an elderly man in profile working at a glowing forge. The workspace is filled with various trade implements, including large wooden wagon wheels, an anvil on a wooden block, a wood-burning stove, and shelves holding jars and hand tools. The print is pencil-signed by the artist in the lower right margin as Beverley Spicer 78 and features a handwritten edition number in the lower left margin. The work is presented in a multi-layered mat with a terracotta-toned inner border and is housed in a dark wood frame with brass-toned metal corner guards. Dimensions (frame): approx. H 26 in x W 32.5 in. Condition: The print appears in good condition. The frame shows minor surface wear and small nicks. The brass corner guards exhibit light surface oxidation. The paper backing on the reverse has a small puncture and minor handling creases.
