This mid-to-late 20th-century stoneware beer stein is made for Patrizier Bräu, a traditional brewery in Nuremberg, Germany. The straight-walled vessel stands 5.5 inches tall and features a light gray finish with a sturdy handle. The front displays a multi-colored transfer-printed brewery logo featuring a half-eagle motif, a crowned letter "P," four round heraldic crests, and red "Patrizier Bräu" text. Near the upper handle joint, a molded capacity mark reads "0,5l" directly above a "Sahm" manufacturer imprint. A uniform network of fine craquelure covers the glazed surface from age. The unmarked underside shows minor discoloration on the unglazed foot ring. The piece is free of structural chips or cracks.
