This stoneware beer stein is made for Würzburger Hofbräu, a brewery in Würzburg, Germany. It features a gray salt-glazed surface and a thick cylindrical body with a solid handle. The front displays a blue printed brewery emblem showcasing a crowned star motif alongside traditional gothic lettering. An incised 0.5L capacity mark is located near the upper handle joint. The underside bears an impressed "MADE IN GERMANY" country of manufacture stamp. Discoloration is present on the handle and around the outer base rim from prior use, along with minor glaze and firing irregularities typical of salt-glazed utility ceramics.
