This salt-glazed gray stoneware beer stein features a fired blue transfer graphic on the front depicting a panoramic view of the city of Nuremberg, showcasing its historic towers, city wall elements, and heraldic shields. The accompanying German text reads "Nürnberg die Stadt der Reichsparteitage," referencing the historic location of early 20th-century political rallies. The upper reverse section near the handle bears an embossed "1L" capacity measurement line. The robust integrated handle includes a pre-drilled hole near the top, historically used for attaching a pewter lid assembly. The vessel features a smooth clear glaze over a light gray body. The unmarked, unglazed flat base displays minor firing imperfections and surface discoloration consistent with age and handling, but the stein remains structurally sound and free of chips or cracks.
