This salt-glazed gray stoneware beer stein features a circular blue printed badge on the front for "Coburger Hofbräu," displaying a central crowned coat of arms flanked by two rampant heraldic lions. The reverse exhibits an impressed "1L" capacity measurement line near the upper rim next to the robust molded handle. The cylindrical body stands 7 1/2" tall and features a traditional lightly textured surface. Condition issues include a visible chip on the upper outer rim near the handle, along with minor firing flaws and superficial shelf wear on the unmarked, unglazed bottom.
