This cylindrical stoneware beer stein features a salt-glazed gray finish with cobalt blue German text "Brauerei zum gold. Löwen Adam Neeb Unterschleichach" and a central lion motif. It is fitted with a sturdy handle and stands approximately 6.5 inches tall. The upper rim bears an impressed capacity mark reading "1L." The stoneware body displays period firing imperfections and some surface spots consistent with utilitarian use. Adam Neeb operated the Brauerei zum Goldenen Löwen in Unterschleichach, Germany, a region with a long tradition of local brewery vessels. The stein does not bear a maker’s mark or date, indicative of common practice among smaller 19th to early 20th-century brewery steins. The base shows age-related discoloration and light abrasions.
