This salt-glazed gray stoneware beer stein displays a prominent circular blue printed transfer badge on the front for "Coburger Hofbräu," showcasing a central crowned coat of arms flanked by two heraldic lions. The upper reverse section near the sturdy applied side handle features an impressed "1L" capacity measurement line. The cylindrical vessel stands 7 1/2 inches tall and features a traditional lightly textured clear glaze. The unmarked, unglazed flat bottom shows small firing imperfections, dark kiln marks, and minor shelf wear consistent with age, but the body remains structurally sound and free of chips or cracks.
