Group of four hand-painted character profile badges produced for Winterhilfswerk (WHW) street collections during the Third Reich period. The assortment includes three molded composition or terracotta-style figures and one carved wooden profile depicting whimsical character busts, including a figure holding a pretzel, a gentleman wearing a black top hat, a figure with a broad conical hat, and a woman adorned with flowers in her hair. All four retain their original horizontal pinback attachments, with the wooden example mounted using a paper reinforcement disc on the reverse. The pieces exhibit light age-related wear, including scattered paint loss, minor scuffs, edge wear, and light oxidation to the metal pin hardware. Individual badges measure approximately 1 to 1-1/2 inches in height. OT
